This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on cortexclean.be, what they are for, and how you can accept or refuse them at any time.
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Among other things, it allows your preferences to be remembered, certain pages to function, or site traffic to be measured.
This policy also covers equivalent technologies: tracking pixels, web beacons, local browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and advertising identifiers.
No cookie other than strictly necessary ones is placed before you have given your consent.
The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept everything, refuse everything, or choose category by category. Refusing is as easy as accepting: both buttons are presented at the same level.
Your choice is kept for twelve months. You may change it at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
Strictly necessary cookies — always active, no consent required
These cookies are essential to the operation of the site. They cannot be disabled and serve no advertising or statistical purpose.
Audience measurement cookies — subject to your consent
Purpose: to understand which pages are consulted and through which channel visitors arrive, in order to improve the site. Data is aggregated; IP address anonymisation is enabled.
Advertising and conversion measurement cookies — subject to your consent
Purpose: to know which adverts generate quotation requests and, where applicable, to show you our adverts on other sites. If you refuse this category, you will still see advertising, but it will not be linked to your visit to our site.
Audience measurement and advertising cookies are set by Google Ireland Limited. A transfer of data to the United States may take place.
These transfers are framed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, as well as by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
If you refuse audience measurement and advertising cookies, no such transfer takes place.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. In practice: until you have consented, Google tags load in a restricted state that sets no cookies and transmits no identifiers. They only switch to full state after your explicit agreement.
Three options are available to you:
For any question relating to cookies: contact@cortexfacility.com.
If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — contact@apd-gba.be — www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
